Caso Clínico –Tratamento com B-Cure Laser / Clinical Case - B-Cure Laser Treatment

Animal atropelado acerca de 4 dias, apareceu com o olho direito esmagado e muito infetado. Tinha 3 hipóteses:
- Ou era deixado como estava e podia desenvolver gangrena e morrer;
- Podia ser operado mas isso era caro e em termos estéticos não era bonito;
- Ou usar laser, primeiro para lutar contra a infeção; promover a cicatrização da córnea, reduzir o edema, controlar a dor e permitir o que resta do globo ocular.

Tendo sido esta última a opção escolhida, iniciou-se tratamento diário com água de rosas e aplicação de Laser B-Cure, nos pontos de acupuntura locais e sobre a córnea que a partir da 3ª sessão se podia observar o seu encerramento e a eliminação da infeção.

Dado que o olho perdeu a sua câmara anterior, encontra-se oticamente perdido, daí não haver qualquer problema em usar o laser diretamente no olho. Funcionalmente apercebe-se dos reflexos da claridade.

A dog, hit by car about 4 days before appeared with his right eye being damaged and very infected. There were 3 options to choose.
- Leaving the eye as it was, but there war a risk of development of gangrene and the animal would die,
- The surgery could be performed, but it would be rather expensive and would not have very pleasant result from the aesthetic point of view,
- Or it could be used the laser - in the first place to defend the infection, promote healing of the cornea, reduce swelling, control pain and allow to keep the rest of the eyeball.

Having the last option is chosen, we began daily treatment with rose water and application of Laser B-Cure to the local acupuncture points on the cornea and that already beginning from the 3rd session there could be seen the wound closure and the elimination of infection.

Since the eye have lost its anterior chamber,  there was no problem with using the laser directly into the eye. However, later it was detected that the functionality was recovered as soon as the dog was reacting on the reflections of light.
